Despite the "environmental impact", the small cult cigar is not too expensive - all the more pleasing how complex and coherent the taste picture appears! Tobaccos from Costa Rica are simultaneously pithy and spicy and somehow fresh - woody-vegatale notes and an elegant, hard-to-compare fruit acid harmonise splendidly with striking coffee-roast flavours and discreet, nicely "sticky" caramel sweetness. In the last few puffs of the superbly rolled, slow-burning short, malt and earth are added. A perfectly dosed, warming pinch of pepper without any unpleasant stinging spicily rounds off the multi-layered smoke.
