Flavours

Whoever thinks of "Nicaragua" + "cigar" in terms of a heavy pepper blast and explosive aromatics is in the wrong movie here. While this smoke is a little above average in strength, the Mexican outer leaves make for amazingly flattering, nutty, chocolaty sweetness that is more clearly complemented by woody astringency and deeper, earthier notes, puff after puff. Nevertheless, the basic character remains uniquely "toasty-sweet" and reminiscent of roasted almonds until it is put down. The repeatedly flashing spicy notes of nutmeg or cinnamon also match this. Great smoke!
