Buy here cigars from Brasil
Brazil stands for liveliness and diversity, be it football, the colorful carnival in Rio de Janeiro or the natural paradises of the Amazon. However, very few people think of cigars when they hear the name Brazil - the largest country in South America. But this is completely wrong, since settlers from Europe established tobacco cultivation here as early as the colonial days. For a long time, only cheap machine-made cigars reached the local market and still shape Brazil's image as a tobacco producer.
From Grandpa's times we only know the distinction between Brazil and Sumatra, at that time almost all machine-made cigars were basically divided into a light (Sumatra) and a dark (Brazil) variant. This division has been preserved to this day, but hand-rolled long filler cigars have gained the upper hand over short fillers. In this country, there are now more and more Brazilian cigar series of hand-rolled long filler cigars available, which are increasingly appreciated by aficionados.
The main cultivation area in Brazil is in the Regiao Nordeste, the tip of the country that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean in the northeast. It is a melting pot of the most diverse cultures of former colonial masters, former slaves from Africa and the Brazilian natives. All the different influences from which modern Brazil emerged and which shape it to this day are in lively exchange with one another in a very small space. The city of Arapiraca became famous as a tobacco growing area. It is located in the middle of the state of Alagoas, which is dominated by sugar cane plantations, which earned it the nickname “municipio do fumo” - “city of smoke”.
This is where the wrapper leaves are of excellent quality, which are characterized by their fine structure and light flavor. Those from the region Bahia, the province south of Alagoas, are stronger in taste. There is also the Mata Fina area, the region's tobacco products enjoy an excellent reputation and are among the most expensive in the world.

This "pencil" accommodates a very traditional way of smoking - because it is by no means a Robusto with RM 50! Those who want to enjoy slowly and attentively will be rewarded with this oldschool format for about 35 - 45 minutes.
Flavours
Such a thin ring gauge always implies a high density of flavours - this Panatela is no exception! More spicy notes and roasted aromas, a little less chocolatey sweetness, woody rather than grassy facets - for all its similarities to the thicker formats, the time-honoured format does have a profile all of its own. This also includes a certain spicy impression and the impression of greater strength, especially towards the finish. Certainly the most intense Menendez - yet again and again with puffs full of charming sweetness and consistently pleasant smoke consistency.

Not only in Nicaragua, but also in the traditional tobacco country of Brazil, highly specialised Cuban exiles can be found. The namesake of the best-selling brand there, for example, is the founder of Montecristo! – This not-so-small Corona burns for about 45 – 55 minutes.
Flavours
Similar to Cuban tobacco, Brazilian tobacco has a characteristic flavour profile that includes tart, malty cocoa notes and moderate spiciness as well as fruity, grassy and slightly leathery components. Few cigars offer these characteristics as undisguised as this one; medium-bodied, wonderfully harmonious and impeccably rolled, it represents the ideal first contact with this underrated country of production at a fair price. In the last third, it becomes earthier and a little stronger, without ever getting out of balance. Great summer cigar!

Otherly known more for slim Vítolas, Brazil's best-selling brand also has today's most popular format in its range. Here, the magnificent Mata Fina wrapper of the Puro comes into its own visually. Travel to the Amazon for 50 – 60 minutes!
Flavours
Whoever thinks of Brazilian tobacco only as a lot of men's chocolate and a bit of pepper is wrong here. The complexity of the Robusto is exceptional in this price segment, – besides the typical cocoa note, there are straight mocha beans, the sweetness of black beer, soft leathery-woody astringency, ätheric hints of fruit residues, and more and more exotic spice flavour as the smoke progresses. The smoke seems magically silky, the aroma is very elegant for a filler. The smoke has a little more kick than the smaller sisters.

Like the Brazilian series, the one with Indonesian wrapper comes in a super-beautifully designed wooden box, whose nostalgic motif invites daydreaming just as much as the fine tobaccos of this approx. 15-minute smoke.
Flavours
You can always tell the blend is heavier on Indonesian leaf, which also provides the wrapper - without the quality having to hide behind the Brazilian variant in the least! Here, pleasantly grassy-floral notes dominate alongside fine, discreetly cedary astringency (after all, Cuban tobacco is also used!). Again and again, spicy aromas can be tasted, which perfectly enrich the well-balanced taste picture.

Long as a premium Corona, but with „small calibre“-RM 22, this noble short filler is an unusual sight. An old-fashioned, stylish smoke in the best sense, made from the best tobaccos of two legendary producing countries. Burns for approx. 25 – 30 minutes.
Flavours
Such an extreme ratio between length and thickness ensures both massive flavour concentration and a striking development in the course of the smoke – thanks to the excellent tobacco quality even in this short filler! The format naturally pushes the spicy, pithy flavour facets to the fore – the rustic-earthy side and the woody-leathery of the Brazilian leaf. Nevertheless, as the strength increases, there is also fine coffee and subtle sweetness to be tasted.

The beautiful designs of the "Trüllerie" wooden boxes from August Schuster in Bünde always hold high-quality tobacco for little money. These fine cigarillos in "Senorita" format are no exception. They burn for around a quarter of an hour.
Flavours
As the name suggests, the smoking experience is entirely dominated by the typical aromas of premium Brazilian tobacco. A charming, sweetish undertone between cocoa, malt and earth runs through, accompanied by leather scents with a slightly floral aspect. As the smoke progresses, the little smoke becomes spicier and more intense, but remains medium-bodied at most. Fine grass/hay notes are also noticeable again and again. The indestructible cigarillos appeal to beginners and "old hands" alike.

While we usually offer you the larger short-filler formats of the traditional brand, here you can discover a selection of 4 different Vítolas, which clearly belong to the classic cigarillo sector. Smoking time just under 10 - a good 20 minutes each.
Flavours
The entire "Trüllerie" series lives from the well thought-out blending of the 2 best Brazilian tobaccos "Mata Fina" and "Mata Norte". Thus, the malty-chocolatey sweetness and the earthy spiciness are combined with the elegant cedar notes and the rich umami aroma of Brazil. Even these small formats each bring slightly different focal points of this spectrum to the fore.

Not only those who count calories and / or do not eat animal products will be thrilled by this "lunch" - especially since, like all products in the series, it is served in probably the most beautiful boxes in this price sector! The eye smokes along for about 35 - 50 minutes.

If you love the "Fernandos" but like it a little more intense and spicy, you can't go past these value-for-money champs! Pithy roasted, woody and earthy aromas alternate here with the taste of fresh bread crust, dark beer and delicious sweetness, whereby the smoke steadily becomes more powerful and full-bodied without ever being overpowering. The draw and burn are as delightfully uncomplicated as you'd expect from top short fillers, and the smoking sensation remains pleasant right up until you put it down.

With the dimensions of a Short Robusto and a tapered head end, the Schuster company has created the original "Torbusto" format here - a great cigar with a smoking time of about 45 - 55 minutes in cigarillo production style.
Flavours
The stately ring gauge provides a pleasant smoking sensation, the torpedo head condenses the flavours - what is a tried and tested recipe for premium cigars also works remarkably well for this short filler! Creamy cocoa and latte notes, cedar and tropical wood spice, finely dosed sweetness, increasingly also soft earthy notes, accompanied by typical Brazilian grassy-fragrant overtones - quite a spectrum that this leaf roll opens up at a buddy price! Medium-bodied and completely good-natured in its burn.

This classy cigar is more of an insider's tip in this country, but in its home country of Brazil, where all the tobaccos used come from, it is a big hit. The slightly shortened Robusto with a burning time of 45 - 55 minutes will delight every friend of the typical Brazilian flavours!
Flavours
The Mata Fina tobacco variety is unquestionably one of the best from the land of the samba, possessing all the flavour facets that connoisseurs associate with this country of production. Herb-sweet cocoa flavour with a malty touch, a filigree leather note and hints of delicious fruit sweetness marry with a clear coffee note, which becomes more concise as the smoke progresses, turns more towards espresso and acquires an increasingly roasty-earthy character. The underlying sweetness of the medium-bodied Puro lasts until the end; the burning characteristics are excellent. A real advertisement for Brazilian cigars!
