As the importer's info sheet rightly notes, one should not be deceived by the light wrapper! The cigar is indeed not particularly strong, but it offers significantly more spice and complexity than many other long fillers in the Connecticut wrapper. In the most beautiful harmony, it marries engaging honey sweetness with an abundance of herbal flavour facets that go wonderfully with the spicy notes of nutmeg and green pepper. But the typical creamy nuttiness of good Jalapa tobacco is also present, as are leathery overtones and a hint of cocoa on the palate. Very entertaining!
