CAO Nicaragua Granada Toro
Worth knowing
Among the numerous lines of the CAO brand, which unfortunately flies somewhat under the radar in this country, we particularly like the "Nicaragua" in its beautiful sky-blue boxes. At RM 50, the Toro is a little slimmer than usual for this format, but burns for about 75 - 85 minutes.
Flavours
At a very pleasant price, you get here an above-average strong cigar with a "typical Nicaraguan" feel. The racy spiciness is nicely cushioned by the creamy smoke texture and a finely woven dark liquorice sweetness, which the Honduran outer leaves bring into play. The lynchpin of the aroma, however, is a pithy, full tobacco flavour with the classic notes of leather, earth and resin. This results in a coherent smoking experience of some intensity, which increases again towards the end. An insider tip with an engaging PLV!
