On 6"/52, Philipp Kugler's Maduro blend is particularly convincing. As with all CigarKings, the Entubado process with multiple smoke channels guarantees a flawless draw that provides pleasure for about 75 - 90 minutes.
Flavours
Which binder is used here is a trade secret - a San Andrés would be plausible because of the oriental-like spiciness that flashes up again and again, something from Brazil would also not be surprising. - Anyway, like the other formats, the Toro is a great "chocolate bomb" with fat cocoa tones, complemented by a good shot of strong coffee. But it has much more to offer: Not only liquorice and earth, but also intermediate sounds of a fruity nature, reminiscent of dried fruit, sometimes even cassis, which keep the medium-bodied smoke exciting throughout. Quite powerful towards the end!

Die Geschichte der CigarKings Zigarren begann während des Studiums von Firmengründer und - inhaber Philipp Kugler. Mit 17 Jahren kreierte er im Rahmen einer Projektarbeit im Fach Kommunikationsdesign, ein Zigarrenlabel. Interessanterweise hatte er bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt keinerlei Berührungspunkte mit dem Zigarrenbusiness. „Es gab weder Zigarrenraucher in der Familie noch im Freundeskreis“, betont Kugler. Erst nach diesem Projekt fand er selbst zum Zigarrengenuss. Aus dem Projekt wurde schließlich die Diplomarbeit und aus dieser schlussendlich eine Geschäftsidee: 2016 gründete er die CigarKings GmbH.

The name Boveda comes from the Spanish and means vaulted cellar. It is a patented humidity control product that has been specially developed for use in cigar cases, countertop and travel humidors.

Each Humipak contains a saturated salt and water solution protected by a bi-directional permeable membrane. The Boveda Humipaks offer the advantage that you no longer have to remember to refill the water reservoir in the humidor, because you simply replace the corresponding number of Boveda Paks in the humidor every 2 - 3 months. The Humipaks release treated moisture to the cigars and significantly reduce the risk of bacteria, mold or fungi developing in the humidor compared to other humidification systems. Humipaks also minimize fluctuations in the moisture balance and allow cigars to mature perfectly. The constant moisture balance preserves the natural oils and sugar components in the cigars, allowing them to improve with age.
