Die Zigarren der Marke Brick House sind eine Hommage an das Elternhaus des Firmengründers Julius Caeser (J.C.) Newman., ein klassisches Backsteinhaus. Er wanderte 1888 in die USA aus und gründete 1895 die J.C. Newman Cigar Company. Für Julius Caeser war die Brick House eine Würdigung seiner Familientradition und als Symbol für glückliche Kindheitserinnerungen in einer idyllischen Umgebung gedacht. Das Backsteinhaus war nicht nur das einzige seiner Art vor Ort, es diente darüber hinaus auch als Gasthaus. Als solches war es beliebter Treffpunkt, um in geselliger Runde gute Zigarren zu genießen.
