Worth knowing
The restriction to leaves grown in Jamastrán, Honduras, is good for the blend, as this cigar is a lot more "filling" than most of the competition from this up-and-coming producing country. Smoking time approx. 70 - 85 minutes.
Flavours
Of course, everything that makes the Robusto special is also here at the start: fine deep pepper and nutmeg spice, concise roasted aromas with coffee main accent, a malty-peaty last third, enigmatically clinging sweetness. The most obvious difference to the little sister is - apart from the format-related somewhat more varied course of smoke - an additional woody flavour component, which seamlessly and enrichingly inserts itself into the play of flavours. The sweetness increasingly gains a liquorice character. With somewhat above-average power, the Toro is an uncomplicated, full-bodied pleasure.

Der Exilkubaner Simon Camacho legt 1961 in Miami den Grundstein für die Marke Camacho. Die Zigarrenlinie Corojo, gerollt aus einem fast vergessenen Tabak aus kubanischem Saatgut, entwickelt sich in kurzer Zeit zu einer der beliebtesten Zigarrenlinien der USA und legt den Grundstein für den im US-Markt bis heute anhaltenden Trend zu kräftigen Tabakmischungen. 2008 kauft Oettinger Davidoff die Marke und baut ihren Erfolg weltweit aus. Heute steht Camacho für authentischen, bodenständigen und kühnen Zigarrengenuss. Auch der Skorpion im Logo der Marke verkörpert diese Charakterzüge. Einzigartig und authentisch an Camacho sind seit jeher auch die verwendeten Tabake. So wird der ursprüngliche Corojo Tabak aus Kuba nur noch bei Camacho verwendet – andernfalls findet man nur noch Hybride.
