Patel has always been a somewhat polarizing master blender, but here everyone agrees: this blend is a lesson in harmony, complexity and balance! Of medium strength, it balances pithy, roasty and intensely sweet facets wonderfully. Malt and toffee, diverse floral-fruity components, racy mocha beans and every conceivable nut come to mind while smoking. The Robusto Largo does not develop as clearly from mild to bitter as countless other cigars, but retains its dazzling character until it is put down. A rare stroke of luck!
