As with all the formats in the series, the Robusto's wrapper is temporarily stored in a rum barrel. The old fox Francisco Almonte just knows how to create taste experiences, after all, he learned at Fuente. Smoking time: about an hour.

Flavours

"Not too much of anything, but enough of everything" - this seems to be the motto of the extremely harmonious blend. It offers distinct but not exaggerated sweetness, a moderate amount of pithy roast aroma, a very dense but never overpowering smoke texture and a level of variety that keeps the experienced aficionado happy without overwhelming the novice. The barrel ageing provides subtle fruity interludes of exotic character before the smoke finishes with some toast and malty umami flavours just as balanced as it started.
