It's better not to mess with a griffin, as it proudly adorns the brand label - but fortunately these great minis, with a smoking time of approx. 10 - 15 minutes, are not as frighteningly strong as a cross between a lion and an eagle!
Flavours
The blend of a classic Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper and Dominican filler guarantees maximum balance at medium strength. Fine nutty aromas with creamy as well as toasty facets determine the taste picture as well as the fine sweetness of dried fruits, but also pithy-spicy tones. Towards the end, the value-for-money winners in the stylishly designed tin become earthier and somewhat stronger. A great alternative to Sumatra, Brazil and Cuba!

Dem Fabeltier „Griffon“, welches auch auf dem Zigarrenring zu sehen ist, verdankt die dominikanische Zigarren Marke Griffin’s seinen Namen. Unter diesem Wappentier haben die feinen Zigarren weltweit großen Erfolg. Der Griffin’s Club in Genf trägt den Griffon als Wappentier. Gegründet 1984, von Bernard Grobet, Zigarrenliebhaber und damaliger Clubbesitzer. Zuerst wurden die Zigarren exclusiv nur für den Club hergestellt und auch nur dort verkauft. Lange dauerte es jedoch nicht bis die Griffin’s nicht nur in der Schweiz, sondern auch international verkauft wurden und bis heute einer der bekanntesten Marken aus der dominikanischen Republik sind.
