The “little sister” of the legendsLancero was only 3 years after this (1967 ) produced for the first time - like all Cohibas in the first centuries not for free sale. If you don't want to smoke that long, you can enjoy the same blend in a more manageable format for about 70 - 95 minutes.
Aroma
The taste of this cigar is very similar to that of the Lancero. Hay fragrance, nutty melt and earthy forest aromas along with charming sweetness are in the typically creamy smoke. Complex and intense, with a good medium strength, it offers the typical concentrated aroma profile of long Panetelas, which becomes denser as the smoke progresses, with increasing spice and roasted taste, without ever quite reaching the strength and power of the Lancero. In this respect it is more like the first than the last three quarters. A gorgeous elegant smoke, complex without being overwhelming.

Cohiba
Cohiba ist die Spitzenmarke unter den Habanos. Sie wurde 1966 ganz persönlich für den Máximo Líder Fidel Castro erschaffen. Ihr Entstehungsort war lange Zeit ein großes Geheimnis, denn niemand sollte wissen, woher sie stammte. Im Grunde war Cohiba lange Zeit die inoffizielle Hausmarke der Staatsführung und außerhalb dieses Zirkels praktisch nicht zu ergattern. Mit einer großen Ausnahme: als Geschenk, welches nur hochrangigen Staatsgästen vorbehalten blieb. Erst 1982 entschloss man sich, ein limitiertes Kontingent auch in den freien Handel zu bringen. Spätestens zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurde auch der Ort der Entstehung unter den Aficionados dieser Welt richtig bekannt: die Manufaktur El Laguito in Havanna. Die ehemalige Villa eines Zuckerbarons ist die Wiege dieser ersten postrevolutionären Marke. Sie liegt ein gutes Stück außerhalb der Stadt im Stadtteil Cubanacán, deshalb konnte ihre Lage so lange geheim bleiben. Hier wird die Auslese der Auslese zu einer Cohiba zusammengestellt – zum Nonplusultra unter den Habanos.

The term Boveda comes from the Spanish and means vaulted cellar. It is a proprietary humidity control product that has been specially developed for use in cigar cases, countertop and travel humidors. Each Humipak contains a saturated salt and water solution protected by a bi-directional permeable membrane. The Boveda Humipaks offer the user the advantage that he no longer has to remember to top up the humidor's water reservoir, as he simply replaces the corresponding number of Boveda Paks in the humidor every 2 - 3 months. The Humipaks are designed to release treated moisture into the humidor, thus minimising the risk of bacteria, mould or fungi developing in the humidor. They also have the advantage over other humidification systems that they minimise fluctuations in the moisture balance, allowing cigars to mature perfectly. The constant moisture balance preserves the natural oils and sugar components of the cigars, giving them the opportunity to improve with age.

The brand's cigars are some of the most expensive and exclusive in the world, and the aficionado naturally wants to be offered a correspondingly precious cigar case. The most prestigious and most renowned brand from Cuba naturally also offers suitable solutions. The Cuban marketing organisation Habanos S.A. develops limited leather case editions at regular intervals. Over the years, the various models have been developed, most of them in the classic colours black and yellow with the brand-typical profile of the Indian head. All cases are made from genuine leather.

The Cohiba Behike 3 cigar case safely preserves all the flavours of the cigars. The black upper part of the case, which can be easily removed from the black lower part, features small white squares. The Cohiba lettering and the Indian head can be found on the bottom part. When pushed together, the case can hold 3 cigars with a length of up to 17 cm and a diameter of up to 2.2 cm - when pulled out, it can even hold cigars with a length of up to 22 cm.
The Habanos Cohiba Behike ashtray is 24 cm long, 23 cm wide and 8.5 cm high. It is made of porcelain and has 3 compartments for cigars.
