The trade name of this cigar, which was introduced about 50 years ago, is misleading in that it is not a Corona, but has the dimensions of a conventional Robusto. The smoking properties of the very popular product also correspond to this. Temporarily, the same Habano was formerly known as “Prince Charles” offered in cabinet boxes of 50.
Aroma
This Bolívar feels a little lighter and milder than its sisters, although it gains strength and body as the smoke progresses. In return, it offers all the more honey sweetness and creaminess alongside complex wood and roasted aromas. A particularly balanced, harmonious and charming cigar, certainly less demanding for beginners than e.g. B. the Belicoso - nevertheless still above average strong. On average, the RC is relatively loosely rolled, so that it draws flawlessly and has a large volume of smoke. You can enjoy them for about an hour, sometimes longer.

Bolivar
Der aus Venezuela stammende Unabhängigkeitskämpfer Simón Bolívar war eine der großen historischen Gestalten des 19. Jahrhunderts. Er befreite weite Teile Südamerikas von der spanischen Kolonialherrschaft. Die nach ihm benannte Marke Bolívar wurde 1902 ins Leben gerufen und wird heute in der Manufaktur von Partagás im Herzen Havannas gefertigt. Es ist kaum verwunderlich, dass eine Habano, die den Namen einer so beeindruckenden Persönlichkeit trägt, auch so gemischt ist, dass sich dies im Geschmack ausdrückt. Bolívar gehört zu den stärksten und aromatischsten aller Habanos. Sie kann sich einer unübertroffen ausgeprägten Reichhaltigkeit ihrer Mischung aus Einlage- und Umblättern der Tabakanbauzone Vuelta Abajo rühmen. Dies macht sie unter erfahrenen Rauchern zu einer der meistgesuchten Marken. Alle Formate sind totalmente a mano, tripa larga – vollständig von Hand gefertigte Longfiller. Die Marke ist etwas für versierte Zigarren-Raucher, die einen kräftigen Geschmack bevorzugen.

The term Boveda comes from the Spanish and means vaulted cellar. It is a proprietary humidity control product that has been specially developed for use in cigar cases, countertop and travelling humidors. Each Humipak contains a saturated salt and water solution protected by a bi-directional permeable membrane. The Boveda Humipaks offer the user the advantage that he no longer has to remember to top up the humidor's water reservoir, as he simply replaces the corresponding number of Boveda Paks in the humidor every 2 - 3 months. The Humipaks are designed to release treated moisture into the humidor, thus minimising the risk of bacteria, mould or fungi developing in the humidor. They also have the advantage over other humidification systems that they minimise fluctuations in the moisture balance, allowing cigars to mature perfectly. The constant moisture balance preserves the natural oils and sugar components of the cigars, giving them the opportunity to improve with age.

The Montecristo brand is one of the young cigar brands from Cuba. For aficionados of this young Cuban cigar brand, there are of course also suitable solutions. The Cuban marketing organisation Habanos S.A. develops new and limited leather case editions at regular intervals. The Montecristo 6 cigar case safely preserves all the flavours of the cigars. The black upper part of the case, which can be easily removed from the black lower part, features the 24-carat gold-plated logo. The emblem with the six crossed swords around the lily in the centre of the triangle adorns the square case like a brooch. You can store 6 cigars with a length of up to 15 cm and a diameter of up to 1.5 cm in the collapsed case - when pulled out, even cigars with a length of up to 20 cm can fit in it.
