Der große Patron Don Jaime Partagás gab der Manufaktur wie auch den Habanos den Namen – seit 1845! Havanna-Kenner wissen um die Nähe der Manufaktur Partagás zum Capitol, die nur einen Steinwurf entfernt in der bekannten Calle Industria Número 520 liegt. Das beeindruckende Gebäude dokumentiert auf sehr anschauliche Weise, wie lange Kubas und besonders Havannas Geschichte schon vom Tabakanbau geprägt wird.
