Aroma
Even the "normal" E 2 is an outstanding cigar, representing the multi-layered, playful side of the traditional brand in perfect harmony. When this blend is made only from the most aromatic leaves and fermented for such a long time, an infinitely complex, beguiling and at the same time expressive bouquet unfolds, enclosing a dazzling rainbow of aromas. An entire oriental spice bazaar hits the palate, from cinnamon and nutmeg to raz el hanout and finely dosed pepper to cardamom and fragrant ethereal herbs. Floral notes and the dark sweetness of forest honey are just as present as the roasted aroma of the finest espresso beans, which - typical of old Partagás - gains a chocolaty overtone. One could go on for pages - but the true aficionado convinces himself anyway!

Keine Marke ist so eng mit Kubas Hauptstadt verbunden wie Partagás. Durch die Lage der Tabakmanufaktur mitten im Herzen der Hauptstadt ist die enge Verbundenheit von Havanna und Partagás gemeinsam gewachsen und nach gut 170 Jahren untrennbar. Der große Patron Don Jaime Partagás gab der Manufaktur wie auch den Habanos den Namen – seit 1845! Havanna-Kenner wissen um die Nähe der Manufaktur Partagás zum Capitol, die nur einen Steinwurf entfernt in der bekannten Calle Industria Número 520 liegt. Das beeindruckende Gebäude dokumentiert auf sehr anschauliche Weise, wie lange Kubas und besonders Havannas Geschichte schon vom Tabakanbau geprägt wird.
