All kinds of things are called "mythical" these days - but the fact is that the Dominican Republic does indeed have some growing areas with a truly legendary reputation. And it is from there that the tobaccos of this 55-65 minute delight come!
Aroma
The much quoted "peacock's wheel" of aromas unfolds in all its glory in this super-premium cigar. Initially carried by exotic fruit sweetness and noble tropical wood etherealness, the taste develops in the exciting course of smoking to complex leather and roasted notes, so that sweet and spicy facets interpenetrate more and more in the most harmonious way. A veritable cornucopia of subtle nuances contributes to the striking complexity - from animatingly acidic citrus tones to a pinch of green pepper to a latent cocoa flavour that plays into the earthy towards the end. The strength is a good medium.

Durch die Übernahme des Marketingexperten Willi Knopf und der Gründung seiner „Cigar Company“ im Januar 2019 wurden alle nötigen Voraussetzungen geschaffen, um die Marke Laura Chavin weiterführen zu können. Der neue Markeninhaber erklärt: „Jetzt steht einer Fortsetzung von Laura Chavin, übrigens meines Wissens die einzige deutsche Premiumzigarrenmarke, nichts mehr im Wege.“ Gleichzeitig unterstreicht er die Emotionalität, die ihn zu seinem unternehmerischen Schritt bewogen hat „Für mich als Zigarrenliebhaber wäre es besonders schade, wenn es diese außergewöhnlichen Zigarren nicht mehr geben würde. Gerne nehmen wir die Herausforderung an, der Marke Laura Chavin wieder den alten Glanz zu verleihen, den sie verdient."
