This exclusive Habano from Toro Gordo dimensions is one of the latest strokes of genius from the famous H.Upmann brand. Announced in 2017, it reached well-known specialist dealers in mid-2018 and, like its 5-year-old “sister”, quickly conquered the hearts of aficionados. Only available from us throughout Nuremberg! Flavours
Like all “Connis” This is also one of the more slightly mixed HU.s, but is a little stronger than the „A”. It has the special balance and complexity in common with it, but tastes significantly different in detail. Matching the darker wrapper colour, it is more of “muted” Flavors shaped – one thinks more of oak than of cedar, of lightly saturated tea than of milky coffee, of forest honey than of meadow honey. Its sweetness is a bit more subtle, but still clearly present, with more spice, mild roasted aromas and piquant notes in play. Nevertheless, a captivatingly gentle smoke that is good-natured right through to the end.

Hermann Upmann war ein Bankier aus Deutschland, der kubanische Zigarren so sehr liebte, dass er 1844 nach Havanna umsiedelte, wo er fortan als Bankier und Zigarrenhersteller tätig war. Seine Bank musste kurz nach 1920 geschlossen werden, aber seine Zigarren leben als exzellentes Beispiel für eine Habano von leichtem bis mittelkräftigem Geschmack weiter. Garant für den Erfolg Upmanns war sein Bestreben, ausschließlich erstklassige Qualität zu liefern. Die H.Upmann -Habanos waren bekannt für ihre Verpackung in edlen Kisten aus dem Holz spanischer Zedern zusammen mit einer Garantieerklärung und der Unterschrift Hermann Upmanns – die Produktion fand und findet in Havanna statt.
