This grandiose homage to his native city of Istanbul, into whose blend a proportion of the best Turkish spice tobacco has been integrated, is a real labour of love for our colleague Salih Dalay. The gamble has paid off - enjoy it for an hour or so!

Flavours

If you are familiar with oriental tobacco (from smoking a pipe, for example), you may have feared that it would stand out too much in the blend. But it doesn't! It's all a question of dosage, and the experts in Saarbrücken have found exactly the right balance between the full power of an oriental spice bazaar, characterful notes of garden herbs and slightly sweetened, strong black tea, the meaty smoky touch of the Pennsylvania binder, but also classic cigar flavours such as soft peat, a fine oak scent or hazelnuts. The strength is medium, while the body is full.
