The trend towards oversize is taken into account at CLE with this Oschi. However, an old fox like Christian Eiroa not only satisfies the demand for Gordos with this six-incher, but also uses all the advantages that the format (smoking time around 105 minutes) offers when blending!

Aroma

As expected, the blend is somewhat toned down compared to the Robusto, so that the strength remains more in the medium range. Nevertheless, a baroque abundance of spicy facets hits the palate - Mediterranean herbs next to oriental spices, woody astringency next to roasty coffee scent, all nicely balanced throughout and embedded in a creamy smoke texture. Nutty, melting charm and a subtle sweetness of dark fruits and liquorice skilfully prevent the overall impression from going too much in the direction of spiciness and heftiness. Complex taste, uncomplicated burn!
