Flavours
It's always amazing to see the differences in detail that the same blend produces in different formats! While the No. 200 is rather spicy, the 300 is more characterised by sweet aromas such as fruity and floral sweetness, which lingers on the palate from start to finish. Of course, the finely chiselled wood tones and the creamy caffé latte feeling also play an important role here. In the second half, the varied interplay of flavours comes up with notes of roasted hazelnuts before a well-measured spiciness of mild white pepper hits the palate towards the finish. Very charming!

Dem Fabeltier „Griffon“, welches auch auf dem Zigarrenring zu sehen ist, verdankt die dominikanische Zigarren Marke Griffin’s seinen Namen. Unter diesem Wappentier haben die feinen Zigarren weltweit großen Erfolg. Der Griffin’s Club in Genf trägt den Griffon als Wappentier. Gegründet 1984, von Bernard Grobet, Zigarrenliebhaber und damaliger Clubbesitzer. Zuerst wurden die Zigarren exclusiv nur für den Club hergestellt und auch nur dort verkauft. Lange dauerte es jedoch nicht bis die Griffin’s nicht nur in der Schweiz, sondern auch international verkauft wurden und bis heute einer der bekanntesten Marken aus der dominikanischen Republik sind.
