In addition to exemplary environmental protection, little Costa Rica also has first-class tobacco to show for itself, as this '54 Rothschild impressively proves in combination with leaves from Nicaragua for approx. 45 - 60 minutes. Once again a great Casagranda import!
Flavours
The brands distributed by Werner Casagranda all stand for balance and filigree. So here, too, nothing imposes itself, but everything fits together perfectly. A perfect measure of pleasant honey/caramel sweetness with a careful pinch of black pepper, a leathery/spicy component (which becomes more concise as the smoke progresses) with grassy overtones, but above all the permanent umami-like undertones that make you think of peanuts as well as coffee with a little milk. Only a little stronger towards the end, the cigar always remains creamy and extremely pleasing in every respect.

Horacio
Die Firma Horacio wurde 2008 in der Schweiz gegründet. Die drei Freunde Christophe Leroy, Fabien Gil und Sylvain Toaldo liesen ihre Zigarren ursprünglich in Costa Rica herstellen. Mittlerweile haben sie die Produktion in das benachbarte Land Nicaragua umgesiedelt, hier in Esteli befindet sich mittlerweile die Zigarrenhauptstadt der Welt, zumindest außerhalb Kubas. Die beiden erstgenannten Herren kümmern sich hauptsächlich um die Produktion in Nicaragua, Sylvain ist für den weltweiten Vertrieb zuständig, den er aus der Schweiz heraus organisiert. Neben dem Vertrieb ihrer Marke betrieben die drei gleichzeitig ein Tabakwarenfachgeschäft in Genf. Die Civette Horacio bietet alle Linien der Horacio Zigarren sowie zahlreiche kubanische Zigarren an.

The slightly different cut. For more variety in your world of enjoyment, the drill from Angelo in the stylish colour black-anthracite with an 8 mm diameter is the perfect choice. The black blade makes it possible to achieve a wonderfully clean round cut. If you've ever tried to roll a cigar yourself at an event, you'll really appreciate the skill of the rollers - but unfortunately there's always the odd ‘Monday copy’. With this ingenious tool, you no longer have to be annoyed by cigars that are rolled too tightly - simply place the drill bit at the cut end of the head, turn it as straight as possible into the cigar until the end of the spiral and drill a little more if necessary. In this way, unwanted leaf pieces are not pushed to the side, but remain in the drill and can be pulled out. The product is inspired by a dentist's tool and makes every cigar draw!
