The Cohiba brand is certainly one of the most valuable cigar brands in the world. It enjoys a high reputation among cigar smokers and is revered by many as the ‘holy grail’ of cigar production. The brand's cigars are some of the most expensive and exclusive in the world, and the aficionado naturally wants to be offered a correspondingly precious cigar case. The most prestigious and most renowned brand from Cuba naturally also offers suitable solutions. The Cuban marketing organisation Habanos S.A. develops limited leather case editions at regular intervals. Over the years, the various models have been developed, most of them in the classic colours black and yellow with the brand-typical profile of the Indian head. All cases are made from genuine leather.

The Cohiba Behike 3 cigar case safely preserves all the flavours of the cigars. The black upper part of the case, which can be easily removed from the black lower part, features small white squares. The Cohiba lettering and the Indian head can be found on the bottom part. When pushed together, the case can hold 3 cigars with a length of up to 17 cm and a diameter of up to 2.2 cm - when pulled out, it can even hold cigars with a length of up to 22 cm.

Cohiba
Cohiba ist die Spitzenmarke unter den Habanos. Sie wurde 1966 ganz persönlich für den Máximo Líder Fidel Castro erschaffen. Ihr Entstehungsort war lange Zeit ein großes Geheimnis, denn niemand sollte wissen, woher sie stammte. Im Grunde war Cohiba lange Zeit die inoffizielle Hausmarke der Staatsführung und außerhalb dieses Zirkels praktisch nicht zu ergattern. Mit einer großen Ausnahme: als Geschenk, welches nur hochrangigen Staatsgästen vorbehalten blieb. Erst 1982 entschloss man sich, ein limitiertes Kontingent auch in den freien Handel zu bringen. Spätestens zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurde auch der Ort der Entstehung unter den Aficionados dieser Welt richtig bekannt: die Manufaktur El Laguito in Havanna. Die ehemalige Villa eines Zuckerbarons ist die Wiege dieser ersten postrevolutionären Marke. Sie liegt ein gutes Stück außerhalb der Stadt im Stadtteil Cubanacán, deshalb konnte ihre Lage so lange geheim bleiben. Hier wird die Auslese der Auslese zu einer Cohiba zusammengestellt – zum Nonplusultra unter den Habanos.

For over 40 years, Quai D'Orsay cigars led a shadowy existence in the Habanos portfolio, but this only changed with the relaunch in 2017 when the brand's range was reorganised to include one classic and two contemporary formats.

To celebrate the brand's 50th anniversary in style, Habanos S.A. is now launching a smart leather case in the brand's classic colours that can hold up to three cigars with a 52 ring gauge. The upper part of the adjustable cigar case is covered with yellow-orange grained leather, while the "Quai D'Orsay" logo and the 50 for the anniversary are stamped on the smooth gold-coloured lower part. The outer box of the case was designed to match in the same colours and the 50 on the lid.
What a piece of jewellery! The 2-piece sliding case, handcrafted by a traditional Spanish company, proudly displays the unmistakable golden Häuptling head on black (top) and yellow (bottom) cowhide.
