The success of - just for example - the RyJ "Wide Churchill" or the Rothschilds from Balmorals Premium series shows that voluminous cigars of Robusto length are fully in trend. Likewise, very rightly, tobacco from the Jalapa region. Here you have about 55 - 70 minutes of both!
Aroma
The silky smooth smoke hits the palate with downright creamy chunkiness - this is where the large diameter really pays off. And in terms of taste, you get exactly what you expect from CigarKings as well as from Jalapa tobacco at the top level: great balance at medium strength and a colorful play of flavors, here clearly determined by the fat, toasty nut tones that are so characteristic of Jalapa tobacco. The Maduro wrapper brings in fine cocoa notes, which visibly play into the earthy as the smoke progresses. Solid facets of dark woods, bread crust, but also berry fruits round out the spectrum.

Die Geschichte der CigarKings Zigarren begann während des Studiums von Firmengründer und - inhaber Philipp Kugler. Mit 17 Jahren kreierte er im Rahmen einer Projektarbeit im Fach Kommunikationsdesign, ein Zigarrenlabel. Interessanterweise hatte er bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt keinerlei Berührungspunkte mit dem Zigarrenbusiness. „Es gab weder Zigarrenraucher in der Familie noch im Freundeskreis“, betont Kugler. Erst nach diesem Projekt fand er selbst zum Zigarrengenuss. Aus dem Projekt wurde schließlich die Diplomarbeit und aus dieser schlussendlich eine Geschäftsidee: 2016 gründete er die CigarKings GmbH.
